Most students come once a week, for a 30-minute private lesson. 45-minute and 60-minute weekly lessons are also available for students who desire longer lessons. For most students, one 30-minute lesson per week is adequate if the student comes to his or her lesson prepared.

Q How much do lessons cost?

Tuition is as follows:

$98 per month for 30-minute private lessons, taken once a week. (Most students take 30 minute lessons)

$147 per month for 45-minute private lessons, taken once a week.

$196 per month for 60-minute private lessons, taken once a week.

$196 per month for two family members, each taking weekly
30-minute private lessons.

If your first lesson falls in the middle of the month, we will adjust the fee for the first month to reflect only the lessons you actually receive. Regardless of the day on which the student’s lesson falls, the student will sometimes receive five lessons rather than four, depending on how many days there are in that month. Some schools increase tuition for months that have an extra lesson. At our schools, the fifth lesson is always FREE.

Q What forms of payment do you accept?

All tuition is drafted electronically, once a month through your checking account or through Visa/Master card. There is no contract for a minimum number of months using this method, and you are free to discontinue lessons at any time. However, when you wish to stop lessons, you'll need to notify our front desk staff (by filling a short withdrawal form) by the 15th of the month to discontinue charges for subsequent months. For example, if you are a student and want to cancel lessons effective February, the deadline to cancel February tuition charges would be preceding January 15th. The deadline to cancel March tuition charges would be February 15th and so on. This short two week advance notice gives, us time to process your withdrawal, cancel tuition charges, notify the teacher and allows us the opportunity to rebook the teachers time slot with a new student. Cancellations made after 15th, result in the following months tuition being charged. Please call our schools if you have any questions about our payment methods. We'll be happy to talk to you about how we collect tuition.

Q What is your cancellation policy?

Your tuition reserves a place for you with a particular teacher at a specific time.  This means that your lesson slot is unavailable to other students and that we have made a commitment to instruct you at that specific time.  Please make every effort to come to your lesson and avoid scheduling other activities during your lesson time.  Consistent attendance helps insure good progress.

Students are charged for all lessons, including those missed through student absence/cancellation.
There are NO REFUNDS for missed and cancelled lessons unless caused by the teacher’s unavailability.  Remember, we hold a specific time slot for you to the exclusion of other possible students.

If you must cancel or reschedule a lesson, a minimum of 24 hours notice is needed if you would like to receive a make up lesson in lieu of your cancelled lesson.  Lessons that are cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will not be made up.  Your teacher is not obligated to provide a make up lesson for “no shows” or lessons canceled with less than 24 hours advance notice.  If you desire a make up lesson for a lesson cancelled with at least 24 hours notice, please ask the office manager to schedule a “make up” lesson in lieu of the missed lesson.  It is the student’s/parent’s responsibility to schedule make up lessons.  Students may not use “credit” from a missed lesson to reduce the tuition for a subsequent month.  Tuition remains the same, even if you cancelled a lesson in a prior month.  Most of our teachers have busy schedules so please do everything possible to minimize cancellations.  It can be difficult to find make up times, especially if the student is inflexible about his/her availability for a make up lesson.  Never cancel a lesson because you have not had time to practice.
