Jarka is a professional pianist and educator with European conservatory classical training and years of experience. She was born in the Slovak republic where she received her conservatory training. She graduated in 1998 with a major in piano performance from the Conservatory of Music in Slovakia and then moved to the U.S. to continue her piano education and study psychology at the University of Georgia.
Jarka has a strong academic background in multiple disciplines. She holds a master’s degree in social sciences, but maintains a stellar track record as a pianist and teacher. She has worked as an accompanist in churches across the states of Georgia. Florida, Virginia and Texas. She currently serves as the staff pianist at San Gabriel Presbyterian Church where she has played since 2018.
